“Ain’t Blue” Is Out the Door

Okay boys and girls – Packaged up my new album “I Ain’t Blue Anymore” last night and out it goes to Burnside for distribution to stores. Yippee. Video is already to go. It’s pretty scarey.
So here is my crazy promotional idea of the day – completely over the top! Be the first person to identify identify the Beefheart album and song that the album title comes from and you will win a shiny (actually it’s a matte finish) brand new copy of Ain’t Blue. Free. Hell, I’ll even pay the postage.

Green Pajamas, Death by Misadventure: This LP is the psychedelic pop band’s 30th release, a remarkable feat, and its brightest spots are the lusher arrangements which feature strings and horns. The album’s closer, “Carrie,” brings to mind the band’s mid-’80s minor hit “Kim the Waitress,” which was covered by both Material Issue and Sister Psychic. DAVE LAKE
