So I got name checked in Steven Tow’s new book The Strangest Tribe: How a Group of Seattle Rock Bands Invented Grunge as well as this article about it in A.V. Club Philadelphia. I’ve read about half so far and give it the general thumbs up. I think Steven got the groove of it.

Whew – lotsa press today!

First, nice Jeff interview in Terrascope! Next, not one but three swell reviews from This Is Book’s Music! - The Green Pajamas, Sigourney Reverb,  plus those danged old Icons! Finally, though The Weekly’s Reverb didn’t do one of those dinky reviews for the PJs like they said they would, Jack Endino name-checked me in his column. Thanks, Jack!

If that ain’t enuff The Icons got a good panning from the Dutch guys (Planet Trash) that thought they stunk in the Sigourney review the other day as follows (sorta translated):

Some link deserves no second life, The Icons are of that link.
